MiDAS

MiDAS is the award winning Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, managed by the Community Transport Association. MiDAS is a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. The scheme is designed to enhance driving standards and promote the safe operation of minibuses.

Passenger Assistant Training

Passenger Assistant Training (PATS) has been developed for people who undertake the role of passenger assistant. The title of ‘passenger assistant’ also includes; escorts; passenger carers; care assistants; chaperones; helpers.

Driver Certificate of Professional Competence

Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) has been developed for all drivers of buses, lorries and coaches. This training has been designed to ensure and improve road safety across Europe.

Out in 3

The Out in 3 Emergency Evacuation training, which stands for ‘Passengers Out’, ‘Fire Brigade Out’, ‘Stay Out’, provides guidelines for efficient vehicle evacuation and offers an opportunity for the safe practice of evacuation procedures. It also seeks to promote good working practices by raising awareness that the requirement to evacuate a vehicle could happen to you.
